The world of series does not stop. Every week we continue to receive more and more series, and then they have to wait to find out what their future is: renewal or cancellation? As it is difficult to keep up to date with all the news that comes to us from the platforms, we have prepared this very complete list with all the series whose future seasons have been confirmed (or not) in recent months. Thus, we separate the series that you should expect very soon and those that, inevitably, you will have to say goodbye. In this list, we not only include the series whose renewal/cancellation has become effective in 2021, but also some of 2020, in order to get an idea of how the panorama is on the different streaming platforms and television channels.

Netflix 2021: Series renewed and canceled
There is no platform that beats Netflix (at the moment) in a volume of content: every week more and more series arrive in its catalog, so some survive and others do not. Here we review the renewed and canceled, which include series such as ‘The Bridgertons’, ‘Sky Rojo’ or ‘Away’. There are other series that we already knew were renewed, such as ‘The Crown’ (which will continue with a fifth and sixth season), ‘The Witcher’ ( already filming its season 2 ), or ‘Stranger Things’, which is pending release its fourth season. We should not expect a continuation of other titles, since they were conceived as miniseries, as is the case with ‘Midas’s favorites’ or the successful ‘Lady’s Gambit’.
Amazon Prime Video 2021: Renewed and Canceled Series
Also in Amazon Prime Video, although with less quantity, there are both renewals and cancellations. Although the truth is that the platform bets to death with its ‘originals’, as we will see in the following lists.

HBO 2021: Series renewed and canceled
Another of the great protagonists of the series in ‘streaming’ is, of course, HBO, home of some of the most acclaimed and worldwide successful series of the last decades. That includes from ‘The Sopranos’ to ‘Game of Thrones’ (which now prepare some ‘spin-offs’ to continue exploring Westeros), through some more recent ones that are making their way into the history of television. Slowly but slowly, Apple TV + is building a powerful catalog, from little gems like ‘Mythic Quest’ to award-winning comedies like ‘Ted Lasso’ or haunting series yet to be discovered by many viewers like ‘Servant’. And the platform only has good news to give: its main series are moving forward, as we compile them in this list .
