It has been only a day since Sandakozhi 2 Chennai hit the theatres worldwide. Inside just a few hours of the release, energetic piracy websites TamilRockers, Moviesda, and Tamilgun leaked the complete movie online.
Based on the source, the makers of Sandakozhi 2 try to take down the movie from the site.

For a number of years, filmmakers have been making an attempt to dam these TamilRockers and websites of the ilk, in a step to avoid wasting Tamil cinema from piracy.
Vishal, President of the Tamil Nadu Film Producers’ Council, said that he has set up a crew to block all online piracy websites.
Whereas the anti-piracy crew managed to block most of those websites, they may not take down TamilRockers, which has a large community. In an earlier interview, Vishal blamed the government for being inactive in battling piracy issues.
The crew of Sandakozhi 2 is in shock as a result of the leak may have an effect on the box office collections of the movie.
