During the 2019 World Cup, former Team India cricketer Farooq Engineer had revealed about MSK Prasad serving tea to Anushka Sharma, wife of former Indian selector Virat Kohli. After which MSK Prasad had to face heavy criticism on social media. Now, MSK Prasad has spoken about the issue during a conversation with ESPN Cricinfo.
Let us tell you that during the 2019 World Cup, former Indian wicket-keeper batsman Farooq Engineer had criticized the former Indian selector for serving tea to the wife of Team India captain Virat Kohli. After this there was an uproar on social media and Prasad was criticized a lot. However, Anushka Sharma did release the statement and came up with instances where she was blamed for Virat’s performance. Later, while talking to Republic TV, Farooq Engineer apologized to Anushka Sharma and said, “I just said it jokingly and it is being made a mole ka mountain. Anushka has been dragged into this, she is a good girl. Virat Kohli is a brilliant captain and coach Ravi Shastri is very good. The whole matter is being magnified unnecessarily.”
