Okay, so CCXP Mexico just dropped the HOTD Season 3 trailer and honestly, I’m still picking my jaw up off the floor. If you thought Season 2 was intense, buckle up, buttercups. The Targaryens are coming for blood, literally. Here’s what you need to know.
1. The Dragons Are BIGGER. Like, WAY Bigger.
Seriously, the sheer scale of these beasts is next level. Vhagar looked like a tiny puppy compared to what’s shown here. I’m talking mountains with wings. Get ready for some serious aerial battles that will make your eyeballs pop out.
2. Rhaenyra’s Glow-Up is… Intense.

She’s not just sad anymore, y’all. Rhaenyra looks like she’s ready to scorch the earth and frankly, I’m living for this darker, more determined queen. Her eyes are on fire, and not just from dragon smoke. Total mood.
3. Daemon’s Back and Badder Than Ever
My fave morally gray character is back and looking as dangerous as ever. He’s got that glint in his eye that says he’s plotting something HUGE. I have a feeling he’s going to be the source of so much chaos, and I can’t wait.
4. The Greens Are SERIOUSLY Rattled
Alicent and her crew look SHAKEN. There were quick cuts of them looking panicked, whispering, and generally being stressed. The Blacks are clearly making major moves, and the greens are NOT ready for it. No cap.
5. New Dragons Alert! Who Are They?
Okay, so we saw glimpses of some seriously cool new dragons. Are they new riders? Are they wild dragons joining the fight? The trailer was cagey, but my money is on some seriously epic introductions. I need names, people!
6. The Battle Scenes Look BRUTAL
We’re talking mud, blood, and fire. Lots and lots of fire. The trailer showed some quick flashes of intense ground combat that looked absolutely brutal. This isn’t going to be pretty, folks. Prepare for impact.
7. Corlys Velaryon is Still the MVP
Even in the chaos, Corlys looks like he’s navigating it all with that signature cool. He’s the calm in the storm, and I love seeing him still wielding influence. He’s the ultimate survivor, sach mein.
8. Viserys’s Legacy – Still Causing Problems
Even though he’s gone, Viserys’s decisions and the mess he left behind are clearly still a HUGE part of the conflict. The trailer hinted at the ongoing fallout from his reign, and it’s NOT pretty.
9. The North Remembers… Or Do They?
There were some ominous shots that suggested alliances shifting, and I’m wondering if the Starks (or their predecessors) will play a bigger role. The trailer was vague, but it’s got me speculating HARD.
10. Aegon II’s Descent into Madness?
He looked rough. Like, really rough. The trailer showed him in some pretty unhinged moments. Is he spiraling? Is he becoming even more dangerous? I’m lowkey obsessed with seeing his arc unfold, for better or worse.
11. THAT Moment of Dragon Fire Over King’s Landing
OMG, there was a shot that looked like a dragon breathing fire directly over King’s Landing. The sheer terror! This is what we signed up for, people! The stakes are higher than ever. Arrey yaar, this is going to be epic.
12. The Ending Shot… WHAT WAS THAT?!
The trailer cut off on a cliffhanger that left me SCREAMING. It was a close-up on a character’s face, full of rage or despair, and then BAM—black screen. They know how to tease us, don’t they? I NEED Season 3 NOW.
